Buying Considerations
No two hunters are the same, and that includes scent control routines. While every hunter will have personal preferences when it comes to scent elimination, there are a few standard steps you can take to increase your chances for success.
Prepare your hunting clothes in advance. Start by washing every layer with scent-free or scent-eliminating detergent. Store your clothes in an airtight container until the day of your hunt. Before you head to your hunting spot, shower with scent-eliminating soap, and put on scent-eliminating deodorant afterwards.
If youre driving to your hunting spot, dont wear your hunting clothes in your vehicle. Wear a different set of clothes, and transport your hunting attire in the airtight container. Dont put your hunting clothes on until you arrive at your destination. This will keep your hunting clothes from picking up smells from your vehicle, like gasoline, exhaust, coffee, etc.
