The SOG® Knives Jungle Primitive Knife is an all-purpose tool for survival around the camp or while hunting. Instantly use it as a small machete, hammer, or limb saw. The molded Kraton® handle features Digi-Grip™ and an aggressively curved front and back on the handle lessening the chance of slippage. The Jungle Primitive Knife includes a ballistic nylon belt loop sheath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Riverine from Bought to take to Iraq Bought this just before deployment to Iraq 2007.I have used it to cut many different things. It came sharp enough for my needs out of the box. I have limbed trees and cut through wood doors. Nicely balanced. You must maintain the edge for best performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jtmonn from Have used several times and keeps an edge I have used it for its purpose for about a week of cutting down small bushes and vegetation. It cuts through most with one chop. Mine came razor sharp, but reading the other reviews I wasn't expecting that so it seems that it might be hit or miss on the sharpness. Great knife and very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JTStrom from SOG Jungle Primitive: great value in a good-sized bush knife I just put the SOG Jungle Primitive to a brief initial test. Results were good. I chopped a six inch log in half in about 30 seconds. Then I shaved some kindling and tinder. I finished up by using the knife with a fire steel to start a quick fire. No hotspots on hands nice handle grip. Very sharp blade. I'm a satisfied customer!
